The BR05 series is clearly connected to the BR01 series. And, of course, the circular baton mark is used not only for AP, but also for Patek Philippe, Girard-Perregaux and many other steel sports watches. The feel of the watches I saw from the initial press release pictures is that, although they are definitely derived directly from the modern steel sports watch design vocabulary in many ways, they still have a clear Bell & Ross logo. Moreover, they are very likely to persuade them personally to be appreciated by their own merits, not just as a tribute to the design.
