LIVERPOOL, England -- Liverpool signed versatile forward Lazar Markovic from Benfica on Tuesday as the Premier League club spends the windfall from Luis Suarezs sale. Liverpool paid 12.5 million euros ($17 million) for Benficas 50 per cent share in Markovic, the Portuguese club said.
